Welcome to the WSTW Archives, the place to go to relive
some of your favorite WSTW moments. Whenever someone famous stops by
or calls in, we'll take the audio and post it on this page, along with
any pictures we may have from the visit. Sometimes we'll even
videotape it so you can see the appearance yourself!
WSTW PODCASTS! In addition to the interviews and performances,
WSTW also makes available certain WSTW programming, such as our public
affairs program Lifestyle 93.7 with Gina Poletti, and Hometown Heroes, our
local original music program. Now if you miss the show, or if your
band gets played, you can download and listen to it to your heart's
content. Each week's show is broken into 4 half-hour segments.
If you're interested in one of the audio files,
they're all saved in MP3 format. That means that you can do more than
just listen to the file on your computer - you can download it and
burn it to a CD or transfer it to an iPod or other MP3 player, so you
can listen to it whenever and wherever you want. If the appearance
included a performance, you'll be able to download the entire
interview, or just the songs in case you're hoping to add those
versions of the songs to your iPod playlist. To save the MP3 to your
computer, simply right-click the file, and then choose "Save Target
As" from the menu that appears.
When video is available, the file is saved in WMV format, which
requires Windows Media Player. Most computers already have Media
Player installed, but if yours does not, you can download it for free
from Microsoft here. Please note that video files can
be extremely large, and in general are not recommended for users on
dial-up connections. The size of the file will be listed next to
each file.
