WSTW Celebrates 30 Years with Fanation #30

In 1978… the Grammy for Record of the Year went to The Eagles’ “Hotel California”… Billboard’s number one song on the Hot 100 Charts was Andy Gibb’s “Shadow Dancing”… the Oscar for Best Picture went to “Annie Hall”… Dallas won the Super Bowl… Sony introduced the Walkman… and in October, 93.7 WSTW was born.

Fast forward thirty years, and while the music has certainly changed, 93.7 WSTW is still playing the hits — all thanks to you! So, as we celebrate 30 years of being Delaware’s home for the hits, we bring you 93.7 WSTW Fanation #30, a chance for you to pick your Fanation! Everyone who wins has a shot at their dream Fanation — their favorite artist ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!

For thirty days, October 1-30, listen for the cue to call for your chance to win win free music... maybe, some free money! You'll also be entered to win the grand prize of seeing your favorite artist performing at the location of your choice! (within reason :) )

The Grand Prize winner will be announced with Dana and Nancy on Friday, October 31st.

WSTW “FANATION #30 – ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD” CONTEST - Official Rules
  1. No purchase is necessary to register/win.
  2. You must be a legal resident of the United States of America to register/win.
  3. You must be 18 years of age or older to register/win.
  4. You may only register for the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest one time.
  5. You may still register for/win the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest even if you have won other contests (including Choice Rewards) on WSTW in the past 30 days.
  6. You may win other contests (including Choice Rewards) on WSTW even if it is within 30 days after registering for/winning the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest.
  7. To register for the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest, listen every day from October 1, 2008 through October 30, 2008 for the cue to call.
  8. When you hear the cue to call, be the 30th caller at 478-1010 or 1-800-544-9370 and you are registered for the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest grand prize.
  9. All registrants win a qualifying prize such as a cd or $100 cash.
  10. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all registrants and announced during the WSTW Morning Show on October 31, 2008. The grand prize winner receives a Fanation of his/her choice. This means the grand prize winner can select (within reason) which concert (artist, date, and location) he/she wants to attend. The grand prize package cannot exceed $3,500 in total costs. The grand prize winner’s request will be seriously considered with WSTW reserving the right to make the final decision as to whether the grand prize winner’s request is deemed within reason. If WSTW deems the grand prize winner’s initial request as not within reason, the grand prize winner’s subsequent request will be considered. This process will continue until WSTW can fulfill its commitment to the grand prize winner.
  11. Employees, agents, successors, assignees, advertising agencies, promotional companies, immediate family members, household members, sponsors, agents, affiliates, parent companies, vendors, suppliers of 93.7 FM WSTW, 1150 AM WDEL, Delmarva Broadcasting Company, and others acting on their behalf, shall be ineligible to participate in the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest and shall be ineligible for any prizes covered herein.
  12. Registrants for/winners of the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest waive any and all claims of liability against the contest sponsors for any damages, injuries, or other losses which relate directly to the contest.
  13. Registrants for/winners of the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest are responsible for paying any and all taxes associated with their prizes.
  14. The grand prize winner of the WSTW “Fanation #30 – Anywhere In The World” contest is responsible for paying any and all taxes associated with the prize as well as damages incurred by him/her and/or his/her guest during the trip. This includes, but is not limited to, damages incurred: to or in the mode of transportation used, to the lodging provided, at the concert venue, etc.
  15. Registrants’/winners’ names and their likenesses may be used by WSTW for promotional purposes without further compensation to registrants/winners.
  16. WSTW is not responsible for technical difficulties of any sort, acts of God, or any other issues that may cause problems with entering this contest.
  17. Void where prohibited by law.
