You have to tell us whether the item is a kind of cheese or not. Get all 5 right and you win! DEAD OR DEADER We give you a list of deceased celebrities. You have to determine which celebrity has been dead longer. 4 out of 5 right and you win! GERIOKEE Identify the song that is being read by an older sounding person and win! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY! We get a male listener and a female listener to battle it out for a prize. The male is asked questions the female should be able to answer, and vice versa. There are opportunities to steal points. The first listener to earn 3 points wins! NAME THAT ITEM We put 15 seconds on the clock and an ‘item’. You have to name 5 things that are specific to that ‘item’; i.e. “In 15 seconds, name 5 kitchen appliances! GO!” Beat the clock and you win! NAME THAT PHOBIA We give you the medical term for a particular phobia. Correctly define the phobia and you win! NAME THAT ‘DONALD’ We give you a series of items that have something in common…for example, famous people with the name ‘Donald’. We’ll describe that famous ‘Donald’ and you have to identify which ‘Donald’ it is. 4 out of 5 right and you win! RANDOM RANT We’ll randomly select a caller and start saying words that have some sort of something in common to them. If you’re the caller, you must participate in the ‘rant’ until we’re done. If you make it through the ‘rant’, then you win! RINGTONE ROULETTE We play an old-school sounding ring tone, set to a song we play or have played on the radio. Identify the song and you win! SCATTERGORIES We put 15 seconds on the clock. You have to name something in the categories that we give you that begin with the first letter of your name; i.e. if your name is Mary, and we ask you to name a kind of dinner item, you would say ‘meatloaf’. Get 4 out of the 5 categories given and you win! SINGING BEE We play a clip of a song. You have to EXACTLY sing the next few lines. Do it….doesn’t matter how off-key you are….and you win! STORYTIME WITH DANA & NANCY We begin a story with a line like “Once Upon A Time….” Throughout the morning, we ask you to provide the next line in the story. At the end of the show, we ask a trivia question about the story. Correctly answer the question and you win! TEXTING WARS We get two listeners on the line to show off their knowledge of texting lingo. First person to earn 3 points wins! TUNE THAT NAME that tune. By the way, it’s played backwards. TWISTED UM GAME Same as the UM GAME, except that we give you two unrelated topics to talk about for 15 seconds! UM GAME We put 15 seconds on the clock and a topic to talk about for those 15 seconds without saying the words ‘uh’ or ‘um’. Beat the clock and you win the prize! WARNING LABEL GAME We read the warning labels of various products on the air. You have to identify the product to win the prize. WHAT THE *BLEEP* ARE THEY TRYING TO SAY? We play an audio clip of a celebrity, with a portion of it bleeped out. You have to figure out what the celebrity is saying. Do it and you win! “I LIKE PEANUTS" We get a listener on the phone. We ask that listener to provide us the phone number of someone we can call that will be available to talk with us. We call that person and conference our original caller with them. Our original caller can only say what we tell them to say; i.e. “I LIKE PEANUTS”, or “ARE YOU LOST?” If the original caller can get to 30 seconds without having the second ‘caller’ hang up, both listeners win! |
