BEYONCE SETTLES WITH HOLLYWOOD HILLS RESIDENT
Beyonce has settled a legal war with a Hollywood Hills resident who claimed she "invaded his neighborhood" for a video shoot. According to TMZ.com, Philip Markowitz -- who sued Bey and her production crew back in May for allegedly trespassing onto his driveway, has claimed that he scored a 5 figure settlement to drop the case.

Markowtiz told the site, "I'm happy with the settlement, but this lawsuit shouldn't have happened in the first place. They set up on my property without asking and the settlement should send a notice to other production companies that they need to respect the rights of property owners."

Bey used a home in the Hollywood Hills to shoot the music video for "Why Don't You Love Me."

A spy told the newspaper, "Jay brought a six-layer cake out for B, they were really affectionate. Cassidy played Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday.' The party went on until 6 a.m. Both Jay and B's moms were there, but there was no sign of her father or her sister. Diddy was the last to leave. Jay filled the room with orchids."

FORMER BODYGUARD ACCUSES BRITNEY SPEARS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT, ABUSE
A bodyguard who quit working for Britney Spears back in June has reportedly made good on his promise to sue the singer for sexual harassment. TMZ has obtained a copy of the suit in which Fernando Flores claims Britney made "repeated and unwanted sexual advances" by exposing herself in front of him at her house.

Flores claims that on one occasion Britney flashed him. The suit alleges, "She was wearing a white lace, see-through dress. She walked over close by Flores, intentionally dropped her cigarette lighter on the floor, bent over to retrieve it and thereby exposed her uncovered genitals to Flores . . . The incident caused Flores shock and disgust."

In another instance, Britney reportedly called Flores to her room where he found her naked. The suit says, "After an awkward silence during which Britney just stood naked before Flores, Flores asked Spears if she needed anything. After some hesitation, Spears asked Flores to get her two bottles of 7 Up."

The suit also claims, "In addition to exposing herself to Flores, Spears engaged in numerous sex acts in front of Flores." Britney allegedly said to Flores during one of the exposing incidents, "You know you liked it."

BODYGUARD ALLEGES BRITNEY SPEARS ABUSED HER KIDS

Flores also claims that Britney has physically abused her sons. One time, the suit claims, Britney asked Flores for his belt, then allegedly "savagely hit the small child Preston." The suit also alleges that she fed the two boys crabmeat knowing that they had fish allergies then prevented anyone from seeking medical help when the boys started vomiting. She allegedly told onlookers, "Mind your own f**king business."

According to TMZ, Flores contacted the local Department of Children and Family Services who investigated and concluded that the claim had no merit.

PETA SLAMS LADY GAGA FOR USE OF BEEF ON VOGUE JAPAN COVER

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are not pleased with Gaga wearing raw beef as her latest fashion statement on the cover of Vogue Japan. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said, "No matter how beautifully it is presented, flesh from a tortured animal is flesh from a tortured animal. Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for, they achieved it."

Newkirk told the Daily News, "Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body."

REPORT: JUSTIN BIEBER CANCELLED SHOW DUE TO COLLAPSE

Rumor has it that Justin Bieber cancelled his Syracuse show on August 29th due to fatigue. Bieber tweeted that he had to cancel that show because he was "super sick," but an insider reportedly told the National Enquirer that the singer "couldn't go on" because he "passed out."

The source said, "Justin couldn't go on. He hit the bed and virtually passed out. I think he was wiped out physically and mentally. He crashed. The vicious work treadmill finally caught up with Justin the night he cancelled. He gives every show his all, but he suddenly got light-headed and very woozy. He had to go to bed because he felt dizzy. The kid is seriously fatigued."

The insider added, "Justin puts on a brave front for the cameras, but he's still weak, and doctors insist that he rest more . . . or else he risks another collapse. But he can't -- or won't -- because he doesn't want to disappoint his mom, his manager or his fans."

Sara Bareilles tried working with Pharrell to explore a new sound for her new album Kaleidoscope Heart, but says the collaboration wasn't very fruitful. She told the AP, "I'm not a very good collaborator and I didn't really know how to do it . . . I felt really uncomfortable with just the process and so I think that's why we didn't really get anything out of it."

She continued, "I would love to probably re-approach it instead of using what we ended up with. I'd love to do it again now that it's not such a new experience . . . I don't know why I get so, I don't know, nervous? I think I was star-struck, honestly."

Songwriting with others isn't something that comes naturally to the singer. She explained, "I'm not a great co-writer. I have a lot of respect for people that can do it well, I'm just terrible at it."

Sara also told the AP that when she walked into the scheduled recording session, Pharrell was in the middle of getting haircut.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS DIDN'T WANT TO KEEP CANCER A SECRET: Michael Douglas's light interview on The Late Show last week probably came as no surprise to his loved ones, because they knew the actor never intended to keep quiet about his cancer battle. He told Parade.com, "Not going public with having cancer was not much of an option, even if I had objected. When you are a celebrity, nothing remains secret for very long. If it helps bring attention, then that is a major upside to this whole thing. Millions of families are going through the same thing my family and I are now going through. If I can bring any relief or encouragement, that's the good news." He's dealing with the stage four diagnosis well, explaining, "Life is not all ha-ha-ha. But I'm in good spirits. I'm an optimistic guy. Nothing has deterred me from my belief that I am going to beat this. My doctors' prognosis is for a full recovery. I have no reason to doubt them."

She revealed, "I've had six relationships with women and I will tell you women kiss better than men. That's very, very true. I remember each and every one of them." Still, she refuses to call herself bisexual, explaining, "I don't really like labels. I'm trying to keep that part of my life as private as possible. Let's just say I'm interested in sexuality."

Danielle took aim at her former co-stars -- namely Teresa Giuduce, who she said "needs a hairline revision," Staub continued, "Planet of the Apes has nothing on her! She reminds me of Cornelius from Planet of the Apes. Could you imagine if her face is that hairy what her body hair must be like?"

PIERS MORGAN NAMED AS LARRY KING'S REPLACEMENT

It's official: Piers Morgan is replacing Larry King on CNN. The network is launching a primetime interview program in January hosted by the America's Got Talent judge.

He said in a statement on Wednesday, "I am thrilled to be joining CNN, and very much looking forward to bringing my own style of interviewing to the world's biggest, and best, TV news organization. As a young journalist in Britain, I watched CNN's astonishing live coverage of the 1991 Gulf War, and felt enthralled by the courage and brilliance of the journalists involved in that coverage. Years later, I watched Anderson Cooper's visceral reports from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and felt equally enthralled by his passionate and relentless search for the truth. Perhaps most pertinently, I have watched Larry King Live for much of the last 25 years, and dreamed of one day filling the legendary suspenders of the man I consider to be the greatest TV interviewer of them all."

Morgan was previously the editor of the UK's Daily Mirror and hosts the interview series, Piers Morgan's Life Stories. The Hollywood Reporter announced that he'll continue on as host of Life Stories and as a judge on America's Got Talent.

He recently confirmed the AGT extension, saying, "Well obviously the only thing that would stop me is the potential horror of having to sit next to Howie Mandel for four more months. But once I've got over that terrifying prospect, then the answer is that I will definitely 100% be back judging Americas Got Talent."

Morgan said that his ideal first guest would be President Obama, explaining, "I think Obama is someone who is going through a pretty tough time. Outside of America, people love him."

As for his predecessor, Piers said, "The guy's a legend. I'm not going to try and replace Larry King. I'm about trying to just do my thing. I'm not afraid of breaking news. I can go from light to shocking."

King's last day will be December 16th.

JANE FONDA ADMITS SHE'S HAD PLASTIC SURGERY

Jane Fonda looks great at 72 -- and she admits she's had help. The star told Entertainment Tonight, "I recently had plastic surgery. It was a hard decision to make, and I decided if I'm going to do it, I'm going to tell the truth. I'm writing a book about aging, so I can't write that book and not say I've had plastic surgery."

She added, "And you know, I just decided it was for me -- I don't want to have bags under my eyes that make me look tired, and so forth and so on."

Fonda, who has two new fitness DVDs coming out, said the key to her youthful look is, "I'm careful about how I eat. I stay active. I walk a lot. I have good genes -- and money."

Exercise, she noted, is a necessity: "I have a new hip. I have a new knee, and I'm going to soon be bionic. If I don't stay active my body stops functioning."

LETTERMAN EXTORTIONIST SEEKING NEW JOB IN TV

The man who tried to blackmail David Letterman is trying to get back into the TV business. Robert "Joe" Halderman, who was released from jail last week after serving four months of a six-month sentence, is ready to put the matter behind him and move on with his life.

Halderman's lawyer said, "His plan for the future is to simply re-enter the world of news and television since that's been his whole life, and his prospects look good to get back. Some doors may be shut, but he's very talented."

Halderman was nominated for an Emmy this year for his work on an episode of CBS' 48 Hours Mystery. It's unclear whether or not he'll attend the September 27th awards presentation.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that Halderman's plea agreement prohibits him from disclosing anything about the Letterman incident, but there's nothing that prohibits him from re-entering the TV industry -- unless Letterman actively tries to block him. His lawyer, however, said that's unlikely. He explained, "It's in the best interests of everyone involved to put this matter behind and move on."
