Holiday Open House at Rockwood Park & Museum (Wilmington, DE) – Dec. 3 & 4 from 5-9pm. According to nccde.org, “New Castle County’s shining holiday celebration will return to Rockwood with an open campus and spectacular roster of activities. Along with the talents of local choirs, food trucks, famous tree lighting ceremony, Santa display, a train ride through the gardens and a brightly illuminated park the Holiday Open House will feature self-guided tours of the museum’s first-floor decorations and feature exhibition, Coming Home: Treasures of Rockwood.”
Bethany Beach Tree Lighting Ceremony (Bethany Beach, DE) – Dec. 4 at 5pm, featuring the SDSA Choir.
57th Annual Christmas in Odessa Celebration (Odessa, DE) – Dec. 4 from 10a-5p. According to christmasinodessa.com, this event is “a self-guided walking tour of private homes and public buildings, many dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, decorated for the holidays.”
89th Annual Lewes Christmas Parade (Lewes, DE) – Dec, 4 from 5-6:30pm.
Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends (West Chester, PA) – Happening weekends through January 1. Greaterwestchster.com describes this event as, “Transformed into a winter wonderland, the streets of historic West Chester are bathed in the glow of thousands of holiday lights” and “features holiday festivities, shopping and dining.”
