A long-absent indie band is returning to the road after more than a decade away. WU LYF have announced their first North American tour in 14 years, marking a rare set of live dates for the group.
The band last toured the region in the early 2010s before disbanding in 2012. Their debut album, Go Tell Fire to the Mountain, was released the year before and went on to gain a cult following despite the group’s short lifespan. WU LYF became known for a raw, lo-fi sound and a deliberately opaque public presence that avoided traditional promotion.
The newly announced tour includes a limited number of shows across major North American cities. No new music has been confirmed in connection with the dates, and the focus remains on live performance rather than a broader comeback campaign.
