The latest Children’s & Family Emmy Awards brought together creators and performers behind some of the most recognizable shows and films made for younger audiences. The ceremony highlighted achievements across television, streaming, animation, and music tied to children’s programming.
Early in the event, singer-songwriter Regina Spektor performed a rendition of the Mister Rogers theme song Won’t You Be My Neighbor. The performance opened the ceremony with a tribute to the long-running children’s program and its message of kindness.
According to the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the awards recognize work created specifically for children and family audiences across multiple formats. Productions released on broadcast networks and streaming platforms were honored in categories covering acting, directing, writing, music, and animation.
