Orleans is preparing to step away from touring after more than five decades as a live band. In a message shared with fans, founding member Lance Hoppen said 2026 will mark the group’s final year of performances, calling it a decision that was not made quickly or lightly.
As Hoppen explained in that announcement, the choice grew out of years of reflection and the increasing difficulty of travel. He said the band’s first show of 2026 also opened its 54th year as a touring act, giving the moment extra weight as Orleans looks ahead to its final stretch onstage.
The group is still expected to stay active throughout the year. More than 40 shows are booked for 2026, giving fans several chances to catch the band live before the run ends.
