Bad Bunny added a new major honor to his career on Saturday, September 5, winning his first Primetime Emmy for his Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The Television Academy recognized the production as Outstanding Variety Special (Live) during the first night of the 2026 Emmy ceremonies in Los Angeles. Bad Bunny, who served as a performer and producer, was among those receiving the award.
The halftime show finished the night with seven Emmy wins overall. The production also earned honors for directing, music direction, choreography, lighting design, sound mixing, and technical direction and camerawork.
