Duffy has returned to the stage with a small private show in London, marking her first full live performance in about 15 years.
The Welsh singer invited fans to apply for entry to the July 5 event through a social media lottery, where she said she would perform new material. The low-key setting kept the focus on the music rather than a large public comeback.
Duffy rose to international attention in the late 2000s with songs including Mercy and Warwick Avenue. Her debut album, Rockferry, became a major commercial success and earned her a Grammy Award.
