Rod Stewart’s scheduled concert in Cincinnati was postponed after the singer needed an unexpected minor medical procedure that required prompt attention.
The announcement from Riverbend Music Center came shortly before Stewart was due to perform on August 9. Organizers said the 81-year-old singer is expected to make a quick recovery and that work is underway to reschedule the show. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date.
The postponement comes during Stewart’s ongoing One Last Time Tour. The singer has faced several health-related interruptions in recent months, including canceled performances earlier this summer after dealing with an upper respiratory infection, laryngitis and vocal fold strain.
