KATSEYE is giving Hootie Frutti a Brazilian makeover with a new remix featuring DJ and producer Pedro Sampaio, along with MC GW and Clementaum.
Released on October 2, the updated track leans further into baile funk, bringing heavier percussion, deeper bass, and a more pronounced Brazilian club sound. The collaboration builds on elements already heard in the original Hootie Frutti, which appeared on KATSEYE’s WILD EP and included Portuguese lyrics alongside Brazilian-inspired production.
The release also comes with a new dance video, adding a visual component to the group’s latest version of the song. The collaboration marks KATSEYE’s first official release with a Brazilian artist.
