Barry Manilow has postponed his May residency shows at Westgate Las Vegas while continuing his recovery from lung cancer surgery.
In a statement shared Friday, the 82-year-old singer said his doctor told him he is making strong progress but is not yet ready to return to the Las Vegas stage. The affected dates were part of his Manilow: Las Vegas, The Hits Come Home! residency.
Manilow said he expects to resume performing in June with scheduled arena shows in the United Kingdom. He also said he plans to return to Westgate Las Vegas in July.
