Sharon Osbourne has responded to criticism over a planned AI-powered avatar of her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, saying the project is not about money but about protecting his legacy.
During a recent family podcast discussion, Sharon pushed back against claims that the posthumous project is a cash grab. She said the family does not need money from the avatar and described the effort as a way to keep Ozzy’s memory alive for future generations.
Jack Osbourne has separately explained that the technology is not intended to work like an open chatbot connected to the internet. He said the project would rely on a closed system built from approved and accurate Ozzy-related material.
