Oliver Tree, the American singer and internet personality known for “Life Goes On” and “Miss You,” has died at 32 after a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Authorities said six people were killed when two helicopters collided mid-air on June 14. Officials identified Tree as one of the passengers, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Tree was in South America while touring behind his recently released album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly. News of his death initially sparked disbelief among fans because of his long history of elaborate jokes, unusual stunts, and fictional public storylines.
