AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Rocks Out With Foo Fighters at Vax Live Concert: Watch

On Sunday night (May 2), Dave Grohl brought someone on on stage who didn’t need any introduction.

Dave Grohl has a thing for tapping one lucky Foo Fighters fan during a show, and welcoming them into the spotlight for a life-changing rock ‘n’ roll moment.

On Sunday night (May 2), the rocker brought someone out on stage who didn’t need any introduction.

The Foos let it rock with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson for a performance of the Aussie band’s 1980 anthem “Back In Black.”

The special moment happened during the very special occasion that was Global Citizen’s “Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

“We ain’t out the woods yet. But let me tell you, I’m a firm believer and idea that music should be shared with people,” Grohl told the audience. “Let’s work as hard as we can to make sure we can do this every night.”

Grohl and Johnson have been busy of late. The Foos frontman directed the new touring doc What Drives Us, which is streaming now on Coda Collection in the U.S. and Amazon Prime Video in select global markets.

Foo Fighters’ most recent album Medicine at Midnight peaked at No. 1 in the U.K. and No. 3 in the U.S. following its release in February.

Johnson took the mic on AC/DC’s latest album Power Up, which went to No. 1 everywhere after it release last November.

Global Citizen’s taped fundraising event will air May 8 on ABC, ABC News Live, CBS, YouTube and iHeartMedia broadcast radio stations.
