We all expect some major savings in honor of holidays like Fourth of July and Mother's Day every year. Additionally, sales themselves have become a sought-after event every year. Another one of those big days is Amazon Prime Day, the annual sale that Amazon has created for Amazon Prime subscribers. This year, the sale takes place on two days, June 21 and June 22.

Amazon Prime costs $12.99 a month, which gives shopper fast and free delivery on Amazon Prime purchases in addition to other services, such as streaming movies and TV shows. If you're not currently a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.

Prime Day has that same free/fast shipping and some major discounts on products in every purchasing category, from electronics to clothes to beauty products to furniture and so much more. Last year, Amazon Prime customers saved $1.4 billion when they shopped the Prime Day sale.
