Calvin Harris and Tom Grennan vault onto Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated June 19) at No. 6 with “By Your Side.”

It’s Harris’ 19th top 10, tying him with Kygo and The Chainsmokers for the most dating to the chart’s January 2013 inception. British singer-songwriter Grennan earns his first top 10 upon his introduction to the chart.

The No. 6 start is Harris’ highest in close to six years, since “How Deep Is Your Love,” with Disciples, debuted at No. 5 in August 2015. It’s also Harris’ highest overall chart position since “Promises,” with Sam Smith, hit No. 4 in 2018. The superstar Scottish DJ/producer owns four No. 1s on the survey: “Summer” (for four weeks, beginning in July 2014); “Blame,” featuring John Newman (one week, November 2014); “This Is What You Came For,” featuring Rihanna (three, beginning in July 2016); and “Feels,” featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean (three, September 2017).

Released June 4, “Side” earned 4.2 million U.S. streams and sold 1,100 downloads in the week ending June 10, according to MRC Data. Concurrently, the track starts at No. 3 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales and No. 5 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs.

While Grennan’s inaugural appearance on both lists, for Harris it’s his 25th top 10 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, the third-most of all acts since the chart’s launch in 2010; David Guetta leads with 39. The collab also becomes Harris’ 14th top 10 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, the second-most dating to the chart’s bow in 2013; only The Chainsmokers have more (15).

On Top Dance/Electronic Albums, San Holo storms in at No. 3, using the force of 4,500 equivalent album units (including 2,700 in album sales) for bb u ok?. The producer’s second top 10 sparks his career-best chart rank and unit total, eclipsing his 2018 set’s performance; album1 bowed at No. 7 with 3,500 units that October.

San Holo has struck for 10 entries on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, including bb u ok?‘s title track, (No. 32, December) and the set’s “It Hurts!” (No. 41, March).

Shifting to the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, Noizu snags its first top 10 with “Summer 91 (Looking Back)” (13-9). The track is achieving core-dance airplay at reporters including Music Choice’s Dance/EDM channel, KMVQ-HD2 San Francisco and iHeartRadio’s Evolution Network. The song samples Jocelyn Brown’s “Love’s Gonna Get You,” which hit No. 1 on Dance Club Songs in January 1986.
