Greta Van Fleet’s The Battle at Garden’s Gate unlocks the No. 1 spot on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart (dated May 1), opening with 43,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week, according to MRC Data. The band adds its second leading set, after Anthem of the Peaceful Army launched on top in November 2018.

On the Hard Rock Albums chart, the Michigan band scores its third No. 1, following its two Top Rock Albums leaders and 2017’s From the Fires.

The new set also starts at No. 7 on the all-genre Billboard 200, where it’s Greta Van Fleet’s second top 10, after Anthem arrived at its No. 3 peak.

Concurrently, the group notches its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, as the new LP’s “Heat Above” jumps from No. 12 to the summit. The song drew 1.3 million radio audience impressions (up 5%) and 966,000 U.S. streams (up 140%) in the latest tracking week.

Meanwhile, nine of the 12 songs from Battle appear on Hot Hard Rock Songs. Here’s a recap:
