The creative genius of Jim Morrison will live on in a new anthology, set to release via Harper Collins on June 8, 2021.
The Collected Works of Jim Morrison: Poetry, Journals, Transcripts, and Lyrics is created in collaboration with the late Doors icon’s estate, and will contain almost 600 pages of writings. The book was inspired by a posthumously discovered list by Morrison entitled “Plan for Book,” and will include poetry, lyrics and audio transcripts of Morrison reading his work, accompanied by a compelling mix of 160 visual components.
The Collected Works of Jim Morrison also includes a foreword by novelist Tom Robbins, introduction by editor Frank Lisciandro that provides insight to the work and a prologue by the rocker’s sister Anne Morrison Chewning.
