Monsta X Announce Rescheduled 2022 North American Tour Dates

After postponing their planned North American tour twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Monsta X announced the new dates for the trek this week.

This time it’s for real. After postponing their planned North American tour twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, K-pop band Monsta X announced the re-rescheduled dates for the long-awaited outing on Monday (May 24). The tour, which was first supposed to go out in June/July 2020 and then set to begin last month will now take place in early 2022.

“In March, we postponed ‘2021 Monsta X World Tour in US/Canada’ scheduled for April-May 2021 to protect the health and safety of artists, fans and staffs as the COVID-19 situation worsened,” read a statement from the group’s agency, Starship Entertainment. “For the fans who are waiting for the new tour schedule, we have been keeping an eye on the COVID-19 situation and are pleased to inform you for the newly coordinated 2022 MONSTA X World Tour In US/Canada tour schedule[. All existing tickets will be honored for new dates.”

The 13-date tour will kick off on January 29 in New York and hit Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Fairfax (VA), Boston, Atlantic City, Atlanta, Sunrise (FL), Ft. Worth, Denver and Phoenix before wrapping up in Los Angeles on Feb. 27. The six-member group recently released their 11-track Japanese album Flavors of Love, which includes Japanese versions of “Love Killa” and “Fantasia,” as well as five new Japanese-language songs.
