Royal Blood Storming to U.K. No. 1 With ‘Typhoons’

Royal Blood is making a big splash on the U.K.’s midweek albums chart.

Royal Blood is making a big splash on the U.K.’s midweek albums chart.

The British rock duo’s third album Typhoons (Warner Records) flies to No. 1, and is outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined, the OCC reports.

If Typhoons holds its strength when the weekly chart is published Friday, it’ll give Royal Blood a hattrick of chart crowns, following their self-titled debut from 2014 and 2017’s How Did We Get So Dark?

Typhoons is the most purchased album (physical and downloads) over the bank holiday long weekend to lead an all-new top 8.
