As the Young Stoner Life compilation album Slime Language 2 begins at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, its most high-profile song, “Solid,” scores its own high debut: at No. 6 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The track, billed to Young Thug and Gunna, featuring Drake, arrives — as does the album — on the chart dated May 1.
With the debut, “Solid” gives Young Thug his ninth top 10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Gunna, meanwhile, adds a seventh to his account, while Drake picks up a record-extending 84th visit to the top tier. As he pulls even further from the competition, here is an updated look at the standings for most top 10s since the chart began in 1958:

“Solid” owes its strong entrance to 21.4 million U.S. streams earned in the week ending April 22, according to MRC Data, enough to prompt a No. 3 opening on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart. The song also debuts at No. 7 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking through 3,000 downloads sold in the same period.
In addition to its Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs start, “Solid” also kicks off at No. 4 on Hot Rap Songs and at No. 12 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
Slime Language 2 also yields a second notable start with its track, “Ski,” which begins at No. 11 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The Young Thug and Gunna billed collaboration received extra attention during its debut frame thanks to a dance challenge that spread on social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram, with Drake, Future and Kevin Hart among the celebrities who have participated. Thanks partly to that boost, “Ski” gets off the mark with 17.9 million U.S. streams in its debut frame.
