Rihanna’s “Diamonds” is living up to its name.

Roc Nation announced Monday that the song has officially reached Diamond status from the Recording Industry Association of America. That means it has sold 10 million equivalent song units since its release in 2012.

“Diamonds” marks Rihanna’s third song to be certified Diamond, following 2010’s “Love the Way You Lie” with Eminem, which was certified in 2013, and 2011’s “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris, certified in 2023.

“Diamonds,” which was co-written by pop hitmaker Sia, was the lead single from Rih’s album Unapologetic. It spent three weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!”

In a tour announcement video, Missy, Ciara and Busta, in intergalactic garb, land on a distant planet by mistake and Busta realizes he took a wrong turn at Mars. "This Spaceship will be Landing NEAR YOU," reads the caption. "RUN 4 COVER!"

Lizzo lets fans know she is not quitting music

Lizzo lets fans know she is not quitting music

ABC

We have apparently not heard the last of Lizzo.

On Friday, March 29, Lizzo shared a post on social media in which she appeared to tell fans that she was quitting the music business, but now, she's clearing up her statement.

"I wanna make this video because I just need to clarify. When I say I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention,” she explained in a new video posted to social media. “What I'm not gunna to quit, is the joy of my life which is making music, which is connecting to people."

In her original post, Lizzo appeared to announce her intention to give up music over the way she’s been treated.

"I'm getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet. All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it,” she wrote, adding, “I QUIT.”

Mel B on mystery Spice Girls project, updated autobiography:

Mel B on mystery Spice Girls project, updated autobiography: "You have to put yourself back together"

Malachi Banales

Spice Girl Mel B aka "Scary Spice" has been teasing a mystery Spice Girls project, but the reason she's doing the rounds is because she's updated her autobiography Brutally Honest with three new chapters, which detail the aftermath of her escape from an abusive 10-year relationship.

"I wanted to show the survivors that I'm with you on this journey, because ... it's hard getting out of abuse," she tells ABC Audio. "And then it's hard trying to pick up the pieces of your life after you've gone through such trauma."

In the chapters, Mel writes about rebuilding her life in her native Leeds, England, trying unconventional methods to treat her trauma and her ongoing legal battles with her ex.

"People think, 'Oh, you should be fine now, you've got out of that abuse.' Well, it is good that you got out of the abuse, but then you have to go on a real honest journey with yourself," she explains

"Because you're full of shame, guilt, you have to put yourself back together. You have to learn to trust yourself. You've got a lot of relationships that you need to recover. So it's not easy."

Admitting that she went back to her abusive ex "six or seven times," Mel says she's sharing her story because "if we don't start talking about it and making cultural change, we're not doing us women any favors — because it predominantly happens to women."

Still, Mel believes she's a survivor and is looking forward to her next chapter, which will including that Spice Girls project.

"I can't say what it is but I think the fans are gonna be really happy about it," she tells ABC Audio. "It was meant to be last year, so let's hope it gets out this year."

Reneé Rapp says the day she got flowers from Beyoncé was

Reneé Rapp says the day she got flowers from Beyoncé was "the greatest morning of my life"

Disney/Chris Willard

Everyone should be aware that Beyoncé is — apparently — watching. Just ask Reneé Rapp.

The singer and actress tells The Hollywood Reporter that four days after she sang Bey's song "Daddy Lessons" at her February 13 show in Paris, Beyoncé sent flowers to her hotel in Amsterdam — something she documented on Instagram at the time.

"I’ve had the greatest morning of my life. I’m gassed," Reneé told the publication.

“I’ve never been speechless in my life. It’s literally going to make me cry,” she continued. "She is everything — and the reason that I know how to sing. I would sit down and listen to her different tonalities and phonics and phrasing styles and be like, ‘Please, Jesus, let me be able to do this.’ ”

In addition, growing up, Reneé said, “I had body dysmorphia and feeling like I had too much of an a**. If I felt badly about my body, my mother would make me sing ‘Bootylicious,’ and it was everything to me.”

As for how she plans to preserve her gift, Reneé said that she's "going to dry the flowers and I’m going to frame them.”

Reneé also told The Hollywood Reporter that prior to getting her record deal, she auditioned for American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent, to no avail. "It didn’t go anywhere. They wouldn’t put me past the first little round," she explained. "You know how people go into the room for American Idol? I wasn’t in the f***** room."

But she's got the last laugh: She has a hit single, "Not My Fault," climbing the charts, her debut album, Snow Angel, has racked up 252 million streams, and she's done a sold-out U.S. tour. She was also the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and she'll play Coachella in April.

Miley Cyrus, Tracy Chapman, Billie Eilish and more get boost from Grammy Awards

Sonja Flemming/CBS

Several veteran artists, as well as current chart-toppers, profited from the so-called "Grammy Bump" following the awards show telecast on February 4.

According to Luminate, the company that collects music sales, streams and airplay data for Billboard, both "Flowers" and "What Was I Made For?" — Grammy-winning hits for Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish, respectively — experienced an increase in streams. "Flowers" streams went up by 98% between February 4 and 5, while "What Was I Made For" had a 50% increase.

Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car," which Chapman performed as a duet with Luke Combs on the telecast, saw a streaming increase of 205% after the Grammy Awards. Streams of Chapman's entire catalog increased by 268%. Meanwhile, streams of Luke's hit version of "Fast Car" went up 46%.

The legendary Joni Mitchell saw streams of her catalog increase by 133% following her touching performance of "Both Sides Now" on the telecast.

The indie-rock supergroup boygenius, who won three Grammys, got a 106% boost in their catalog streams, while streams of their winning song, "Not Strong Enough," increased 102%.

The bumps' effect on these artists' chart performances will be reflected on Billboard's next batch of chart updates.
